I randomly touched my diamond earrings to make sure they were still on as soon as I read this thread. But yes, I second the "screw back" idea because mine are the same and they NEVER leave my ears, unless they're out for cleaning or something like that.

yeah- i was just telling my neighbor about it- this earring has been missing since wed. or thurs. i have been at this computer amillion times since then- i would have noticed a raisin at the base of the chair- just today- shows up this raisin- with my earring, with the back on??? that's kind of freaky. less freaky if the back was off- got stuck in my sneaker, etc. but- with the back on??? thank you everyone for the good vibes, and thank you Saint Anthony!!! and yes, i am having the setting changed and getting them insured asap.
