I recently purchased a damier ebene speedy 30 and intially was determined in getting one made in France; however, after finding 2 made in France which had defects, I decided to go with a perfect one made in USA. If the one you have now, made in usa, is perfect, I would keep it!! Its more important that it be made perfectly than where its made, at least IMO.
