I've heard it does have color transfer and that it's difficult to avoid it unless you are careful to not rub it against your clothes or wear dark items that would cause color transfer.

Color transfer is very common on the lighter AW bags. I've got a rockie in Dune and I'm very careful with it since I saw some light color transfer when I wore blue jeans once.
