The search has finally come to an end! I have been saving up for about a year so that when I turned 30 (6 days ago) I would be able to go out and get myself a watch. A FOREVER watch. A coming of age watch. Something that was timeless. I knew I wouldn't mind putting a chunk of money towards somethingI plan on sporting for the next 15 years at least. I love the tank style and I always just skipped over Cartier because it just seemed too expensive for me and I didn't want to spend that much on a watch.

Well after the last few months of searching for something "similar", tireless compromising on prices, styles, watchmakers, seemingly endless buys and returns I finally said "THAT IS IT! I want a Cartier so I'm just going to pay for one. No more of this 'I guess I like this almost as much as a C so I might as well get it'"
This morning I woke up, got my butt to the 5th ave Cartier mansion and bought this little sucker! I can finally have the watch I wanted without saying "oh well I'll just get the watch I want for my 40th bday" Nope...I can have it now.
Of course the customer service I experienced was unparalleled and Francesca, my SA, was lovely and not pushy in the slightest. I was clearly not someone who had TONS of money to spend but she made me feel as if I did. And I would expect nothing less. I was fully prepared to walk out of there without a watch if I experienced any snooty SAs. THAT I can never understand and will not put up with no matter how much I want an article.
