I'm not sure that the brown will be included in the price increase as it is already $1995 {or $1895?}
When it came out this past fall at that price, that was a tip off to me that some bags would be increasing prices so I figure it's alreayd built in{?}

No, not really. The Grand Shoping Tote is pretty much open w/ 2 big sections seperated by a zippy compartment in the center, here's a pic of mine before I took it back:

That is my only gripe about the bag. I don't like how you cannot fully close the bag. I put all my valuables in the center part where there is a zipper.
