See, I told you, totally different than what I went in thinking about! Well, same bags, different colors!

It's beautiful! We thought there was some olive in it to begin with until we brought it out from under the light on the shelf. It's a deep taupe.

I bet the hobo would be more comfortable to carry. Some people have said that saffiano straps aren't comfortable. The saffiano is weather resistant and easy to care for, the Madison leather is probably soft and nice to the touch. The tote is structured and the hobo is slouchy. I would probably get the hobo if I liked the color.
