My sister got a beautiful 45 keepall with a a shoulder strap about 3/4 years ago for getting good grades in her GCSE's, but she went off to university and left it at home with me.
I used it quite a lot, just for travel and occasionally for school.
Today i had far too much in it and could barely carry it.
It had some wear and tear from me using it a lot,
and today, the handles gave in and snapped off.
I feel like crying

oh no! LV can replace the handles but they won't match the rest of the leather if it's already patina'd. best to call your sister, let her know what happened and ask if she wants the bag repaired or replaced. good luck!

I rang her just before.
She was really cool about it
She said it didn't really matter to her as she had practically given it to me
But im going to get the handles replaced at LV

There was a lot!
All my school books, like 15 ?
Along with loads of paper
A Pair of trainers
2 bottles of water
and the usual
wallet, phone, change of clothes etc.

15 books? LOL.. geesh. I am sorry that it broke, but that sounds like a lot to put in a duffle bag, don't ya think? Hopefully it won't cost too much to replace/repair the handles.

That's great that she took it well, I'd be freaking out if I did that! Getting it fixed is a nice idea definitely, and if you think you'll just be keeping it anyway maybe you can get her something else that she wants and will use to say you're sorry?
