Dinner tonight. DH grilled flat iron stake and stir fried the veggie with lemon pepper. Store bought premade Mac & cheese. Had gas hooked up just needs to pass inspection till I can start cooking.

It was a pistachio frog.
They also have Raspberry Pigs , Strawberry Strawberries , Chestnut Hedgehogs and other nice little mignons.

I never knew about this dish! I used to make a Vietnamese dish with similar ingredients, except with steak. DH is always asking for it but I don't like to make it because french fries make a mess.

My DH prefers it with steak too (Lomo Saltado) but I prefer chicken. The first time I ever had it years ago, having both fries and rice was good but strange (to me).

Sticky rice and mango. The green is pandan. I couldn't really taste the difference. I think I'll leave it out next time. DH doesn't like the color.

I've never seen any for sale around here. I've never had rambutan. I've had durian but I couldn't get past the smell.
