I have an Alma PM for around 10 or so years. It is in very good condition. It is hard for me to find a black handbag with silver hardware that I like. I looked at the Chanel WOC but I think it is too small for me. The Alma PM in my opinion is a "perfect" design. Do you think it is a good idea to buy another Alma PM in black epi? (I also have the Alma BB in black epi) Thanks!!!!!!!

I am not voting, I am too biased. Alma in Épi is the most beautiful Vuitton ever existed. PM is probably the best size. I have a BB though, but I wouldn't mind a PM, a GM, a Voyage, a Mini and a Nano even in the same colour

I think if you love the design and can't compare it to anything else, then go for it as you clearly enjoy the bag 🥰 I would personally collect other variations of the same type of bag if I loved it a lot!
I have to agree that the black episode Alma PM is a great bag. I've had mine for about 10 years and have no plans to give it up any time soon. That said, have you taken a look at the Neo Alma in noir empreinte? It comes in PM and BB. I've been really tempted by this one.
I agree with you that the AlmaPM is the perfect sized bag for almost everything. The black epi is unique in LV in that it has silver hardware (something I wish they did a LOT more of, tbh). If this is what works for you, then go for it.
I have looked at all of the other Almas and love them. I also have the Alma PM Monogram and Alma PM and BB in Damier Ebene. I want black with silver hardware only as I have a very large collection of LV's with gold hardware. I just didn't know if having 2 of the same Alma's is the right thing to do.
I think it's prudent to have back ups if it's something you truly love and that works for you above other bags.
As someone who has bought the occasional multiple, I do suggest keeping in mind it might not feel the same at first as the other one has been worn for years. Nothing that should be a dealbreaker, but the leather a bit more rigid, the zipper stiffer, etc., where I had to remind myself it'd be different for awhile.

I just bought a black Alma BB, epi, and I have the same but Alma MM. My MM, too is gosh from … 2016? And I still LOVE it and it is my longest lasting “still in love” of any handbag I have ever had.
For this reason, it didn’t seem redundant to get the BB. It holds so much and almost seems “big” now given all the other super small bags out there. Go for it!
I’ve had my Alma PM in black epi for 8 years and it’s simply timeless, light and fits exactly what I need. Whenever I try to go to a smaller handbag, I really struggle to fit my Sarah wallet, keys and all the extras I just pack in. It really is a winner, so yes, just buy another and enjoy!
My current bag is slightly smaller and don’t have too many things in it. I just need room for my Chanel hard sunglass case and essentials. It’s such a beautiful bag. I hate that it’s out of stock on Louis Vuitton.
Buy the Hermes mini Bolide. It's very similar and you get to choose the hardware. At least it's a different brand and you get to experience luxury handbag from another luxury house.
