Hey guys, After seeing the gold studded chalk Gramercy IRL, i can't seem to get my mind off it. Would getting it be redundant since i already have the chalk gramercy without studs? I am even willing to part with my periwinkle dakotah and one other bag for this (ban island rule). Thoughts?

If you love it and the style works for you I say go for it! !
I just received my teal dakotah and love the style so much I plan on buying multiple colors in it. I am now starting the process of returning everything else that are NWT that I have bought recently. I no longer feel like I 'love' then compared to dakotah.

I love having multiples but in different colors. I honestly think they are too similar. With that being said, I think you should get it since you are in love with it -- and think about selling/gifting the plain chalk one. Good job on returning the periwinkle Dakotah (which I seemed to recall that you don't love) and another bag. Good luck with your decision.

I am so glad that you love your Dakotahs. You are so lucky to have bought a teal Dakotah. I saw the one that was just on eBay but was trying to be good. I would love to have a light blue one, someday after I get off ban island.

Thank you I feel silly wanting the same color bag just because it has studs. Love has no reasons
I have not yet returned the periwinkle dakotah. It is so beautiful and i am afraid i will regret it. I have been taking it out of its bag and admiring it knowing fully well that shoulder bags don't work for me. Help..I am so confused...

I do not go near ban island, but from what I have heard, rules are made to be broken! I would not give up your periwinkle bag, the color is amazing....

You were probably looking at the exact same dakotah I bought! I put in a max bid of exactly what I would have bought it from coach for at 30%PCE plus tax then went to bed. I really didn't think I would get it but no one else bid so I got it for $500. Definitely not the best deal in the world but good enough. The color and construction is beautiful, I'm very happy that I got it.

I don't mind having 2 almost identical bags because I will designate one to be carried when I have my young kids with me and the other when it is just me out. I let go of the worry of my 'kid bag' knowing it could get ruined by some freak icecream or other messy disaster.
I will try and figure out how to post pics in the dakotah thread later. I already feel like I hijacked your thread a bit, I'm sorry.
