Hi Purseforum friends,
I’m searching for the perfect LV hobo in monogram. I love the look of the new Slouchy bag, but not the price tag. I want to get a preloved hobo that has enough of a strap drop to fit over the sleeve of a winter coat. So far I’ve come across the Sully, Graceful and Berri. I’m more petite and would like a roomy, everyday bag that’s not as large as the Neverfull. Does anyone carry any of the above on the daily that you would recommend? TIA!

2 of my hobo favs are the Maida and the Melie. My number one fav is the Maida, I love that it zips closed and has 2 large front pockets. The Melie has deep pockets that wrap around, but has no top zipper to close.

IMO the discontinued Deligtful MM (mine was the new model) was the best hobo hands down. Hard to find one without peeling issues unfortunately. For reference I am 5'0" and loved the MM size.

actually leather version of Artsy is one of my favorite LV hobo bags. it's stylish, comfortable (more comfortable than mono, azur version), also it's narrower but not too narrower than other leather version LV hobo I have had. The strap drop is also more comfortable than other LV hobos I have had.
I’m sad this bag is discontinued. :(

I came across these photos from 2012 when I purchased the Sully MM for the first time and then again in 2020. It's a great roomy hobo with plenty of strap drop and the hardware is so pretty! I see them often on Keeks and Fashionphile.

It looks like a great bag. Is the strap comfortable for long wear? Is the capacity as good as the Neverfull MM?

For me that strap was everything! Thick but flexible enough to be comfortable and it never slipped off my shoulder like the Delightful tended to do. The MM size is a big bag and holds a lot but it can get heavy compared to the Neverfull MM if you overpack it. I think the NF is a much lighter-weight tote overall but if you overpack it the straps can dig into your shoulder. Because of the length of the Sully strap being shorter than the width of the top of the bag it is a little harder to get things in and out of, if that makes sense. Whereas the NF is wide open with easy access.
I have also had the Sully PM which is still a large enough bag and suited my frame better than the MM did (I'm 5'0"). I'll see if I can find pics of the PM size on me.
Check out reviews on Youtube if you get a chance. BJTaylor has a good one on the MM size:

And this one is great if you're considering the PM size:
