Hi all. Can anyone please recommend where I can find a top quality black leather traditional attache briefcase? Something like black taiga leather President Classeur by Louis Vuitton - but not as expensive. It's for my BFs 40th so I need something special pleaaaaasssseee.

Louis Vuitton do have a black Damier one for £3400 but my BF won't do monogram (ever). So I'm kind stuck.

Bumping this thread! Does anyone have any suggestions? I, too, am searching for an attache case in this particular style, in a more accessible price-point.
Frank Clegg makes traditional briefcases that also have a leather strap to wear it. Classic with a modern accent. Their leathers are quite excellent. I own the English Satchel in red, and its divine. President ***** used a black double gusset attache from this maker for both his terms in office.
I was going to recommend Ettinger London although I see some of their case are similar prices to LV
