How would you base an offer on this?

Not so pleasant Mt Pleasant
I really like this bag that I came across on ebay.

I'm considering making an offer but I'm also trying to research it to find out about how old it is and what it originally sold for new.

This is the closest to it that I could find.

I can't seem to locate any pre-owned that have sold in order base an offer upon.

Would you just offer the max you'd be willing to pay for it? Or would you wait and hope to find one for less?

Wow...I haven't seen this style of bag in years. It's called a Desert Drawstring Satchel and was available around 2009 if I remember correctly. The leather version was selling for around $800-900 from the boutique. In this case, with the bag being pre-loved, an old style, and made out of fabric canvas (normally less expensive than leather), I personally wouldn't pay what the seller is asking for. Try offering them your max amount and see what they say, if they don't like it then move on...at least you know what the bag is called which makes hunting easier.
Hope this helps you out a little and good luck:smile:
