How useful is the 4-keys holder?? Your thoughts?

I really like the red vernis 4 keys holder; but wondering what you guys think of it. Is it hard to take keys out of it? (I mean, the golden clips are so tiny & short; will it get in the way when you are holding the key & need to use it to open a door)...sorry hope it makes sense.....Also, will a "thicker" car key fit in there? Do you think the 4-keys holder is a waste of money? I just want something to hold my keys in so they won't damage my bags or my pockets. :yes: If you have any pictures of how your keys fit in the keyholder, I would love to see them. :yes: or any opinion will be great ;) Thanks a lot!

I have the six key holder in epi. I can not put my car keys on it. My sister put the keys on it for me since the SA showed her how to do it. The SA also told my sister that the gold key clips will chip/dull, and they will need to be eventually replaced for cosmetic reasons.

Since I carry my key holder in my pocket, I like the epi. I do not have to worry about color transfer.

I have the 4 key holder in Pomme. My very thick car key (Honda) fits on it just fine and I have 7 other keys on it as well. The 4 key holder is absolutely great. You can fit two keys per ring - it is very easy to put the keys on it (you don't have to open anything - just slide the keys right on) and I leave my thicker car key and separate fob hanging out. It is really really nice and extremley useful. I love mine. I don't know what SA told someone you have to open the key holder to put keys on, she obviously didn't know what she was talking about - it is very easy - you just slide them right on - they are very secure. The very thick car keys fit just fine but on that particular ring - you can then only put that key (I put two each on the others). The is a picture of mine with the thick car key on it on one of the other threads. I think the thread title was "what do you use for keys and car clickers."

:yes: I have the six key holder in monogram, and as previosly mentioned, the new thick car keys DO fit on the individual key holders and there is no trick to slipping them on. My thick electronic keyless opener also fits on one! I only keep these two, and two "normal" house keys in my key holder, that way I can still snap it closed, with everything inside.

I think there are some SAs out there that just haven't tried it and are giving out incorrect information. When I bought mine, an SA told me I couldn't fit all my keys on it, and I bought the mono 6 key holder (which I absolutely hated - it seemed so masculine because it was so big and thick - didn't fit comfortably in my hand - even though I love mono) - I took it back the next day, bought the pomme in red - all my keys (even big ones and clicker) fit on it fine and I absolutely love it!

So - OP - don't be afraid to get it - you will absolutely love it. I get compliments on mine almost every time I use it.

I've got the 6 key in Damier and the 4 key in Framboise. With the thick car key, I've got one of those small rings through it and then I attach it to the key holder. I don't tuck the thick car key in the pouch though.

I have the 6 key one in epi and I'm used to the size now. I can access my keys very easily, actually. With other key cases the keys would all dangle out on the clips at once, but with this one, the keys stay put until you're ready to take one out. It's so well made!!

I didn't know the clips would eventually have to be replaced for cosmetic reasons. I guess that makes sense, but I only have to access my keys twice a day. I hope the wear and tear will be gradual!

Mine shuts easily with my thick car key on it - the only thing that would dangle is the car key clicker. I think they're just wonderful in any size. I really love my pomme key holder. The color is gorgeous.

I have more than one car key on my keychain so this is really out of the question for me.. too bad though, they are cute !

I much prefer the valet key chain tho !

i have a hella thick car key. its to a chrysler pt cruiser and it took a good push, but it fit in there perfectly! not too big at all! and the item closes just fine!

i know the grey key is hard to see, but that is the huge on that fits onto the 4 key holder.

i absolutely love the size of the 4 key holders for your keys and a c/c, and id or folded cash. its wonderful! and its a great way to have a little useful piece of each collection!

i swear by mine, plus,
it keep everything else in my bag frrom getting scratched up by my keys!
what a lifesaver!

oh yea, my fob also fits onto the piano key without that little keyring to attach it to, but i like to take the fob off sometimes and not carry any key but that one. so, you can see, even that giant of a fob will fit directly on there.
