How do you tell if a company/website is legit??
i've seen posts of some places where they say "well the ip address is ____ and says it's from ____ but the website says it's from this city"

specially i'm looking at websites that sell tickets. i've checked on bbb and it doesn't even come up, but it has a facebook page with quite a bit of fans. it says where they're located, says you can call to order tickets (as does their website) but i can't find any websites that give reviews...or complaints... how can you tell if these sites are legit?

Well, they've been on the web since '97 and look to be registered through 2019; based in New York with what looks like a valid phone number. It's also on a 'dedicated server' which is a sign of a business.

I can't verify that it is a legitimate business and will give you perfect service with no problems, but I don't see any glaring red flags.

thank you very much. i noticed on their facebook page that they openly share their physical address so that made me feel better. tried to find them on BBB but nothing popped up, however when i searched for stubhub on bbb they showed up.
