this was sooo helpful!!! TY miu2! at first i couldn't under hwo to unhook the clasps, as all u experienced owners know (i only got mine yesterday ) the clasp works two ways - the side attached to the strap and the side attached to the D ring. Didn't realise that! =)

For the bow satchel, you have to remove the actual clasp hardware from the strap first before you can string it through the D ring (if that makes sense), then reattached it after you pull the strap through. Good luck.

I had the same problem then i realised the clasp clasps two ways - the criss cross side ur looking at, and the side thats attached to the D ring

Oh... I get it now. It's a lot of work though! And the strap doesn't look great hanging down when it's shortened.

heres another way to shorten bow straps (not by much, but still makes a difference)

I am a new miu miu convert. I just purchased a purple vitello lux and found that the "O" ring is a little too small to do away with the clip completely. So I shorten the strap by a little, which helps, by simply clipping the hardware to the lower part of the "O" rather than the upper part. Hope this makes sense..
