How to prevent leaky pens inside bags?

ive recently found a good pen for my purposes...i love writing with wet sloppy gel pens and love retractable pens too. as someone else posted, there is still the chance that it will accidentally 'click' open in my bag. heres my solution:

there's a mechanism underneath the clip that keeps the pen from working if you have it clipped to something. i just keep the pen clipped to one of the inside pockets of my bag. works great so far!

that looks interesting..Amazon doesn't have anymore but maybe Staples or some other store will.
thanks

Idk I don't like carrying pens bc I've had the cap open and mark up inside and on my things but for some reason when I don't bring a pen I always wind up needing one. So now I carry a thin pencil case. People look at me weird when I need to use a pen and pull out my case but hey you can never be too safe!!!

This is my worst bag nightmare! I'm usually pretty picky about the pens I use but the ones I like are the most "dangerous" (superfine point rollerball), so I've been using a nicer metal-cased ballpoint pen with a screw top.

Bagmate - I LOVE it.

I use the pen sized pockets on the sides, and it fits everything from my nice pens to my gel pens. I even use it inside my Kellys, I'm that confident in it!
