How to prevent handles to be come darker?

hi,
i know a lot of girls here like their LV handles to be darker (patina), but i'd rather like it a bit lighter...is there any way to prevent it? thax

Hey!

I would keep it away from direct sunlight.
Make sure you dont use lotion before you carry your purse.
You can use a scarf around the handles.
Dont carry the bag in your hand.
Always keep your hands clean.

That might help. Im an avid fan of patina, I hate white vachetta, I love it dark!
