Certificate doesn't have Pavilion Angle %?
Diamond Experts here in this forum please help me . Here is the infor of the diamond ring that I'd like to purchase from private seller.

Shape :Round
Carat : 1.20
Measurements : 6.75-6.78-4.20mm
Table:58%
Depth : 62.1%
Crown Angle : 35.3%
Pavilion Depth :43.1%
Girdle : Medium to slightly thick . Faceted.
I don't know if it is a great ring or not to buy for. I needs help here.

I would pass on this for a few reasons without concern for the HCA. You can do better, and we can help you find a better stone, if you are willing to let us.

1) the measurements for a 1.20 are a hair too small. They should be around 6.9x mm. A 1.25ct stone is 7.0 mm usually. So you should literally be a hair under that. Part of the issue in the loss of diameter (and while it's not a LOT, it's enough to cause concern), is that you have a slightly thicker girdle and a deeper stone.

2) a 58% table is not ideal, you're going to get less colored light return, especially with a 62% depth. The angles on this stone are not going to work well.

Regarding HCA:
While it's not sometihng I would hinge a purchase on, you can do the HCA with a pavilion and crown % it's just not as accurate without the actual degree.

As far as the stone size for your finger, I don't think that's a problem, no. I actually envy the small ring size.
