How To Clean Mini Lin?

Hmmm... don't have any Mini Lin yet, but for some reason I wouldn't take it to the dry cleaners. Perhaps just baby wipes?? Baby wipes seem to be a really good cure-all for dirt and stuff on bags. Perhaps someone else who actually has a Mini Lin bag will pipe in here. 
I emailed vuitton.com and they said no dry cleaners because they use chemicals to clean clothing and that will damage your bag.
Their instructions is to use a cloth dampened with water that was mixed with a neutral soap to wipe down the canvas gently, and then wipe it down again with a damp cloth (only water this time)
