Happy New Year! Is there a recommended or suggested way to wear your Cartier stack? I’m planning my stack and know I would love the SM LOVE bracelet in RG and the JUC thin bracelet in RG. Are you supposed to wear the LOVE bracelet closest to your fingers should the JUC be placed there? I measured my wrist size over (including) the wrist bone (16cm). Is it more comfortable to have one of these bracelets placed near the fingers over the other? TIA!

I prefer my JUC closer to my hand than my Love. When you purchase the JUC you are supposed to size down one size from your Love for the closest fit, but the JUC is slightly smaller. For this reason I like it closer to my hand, where my wrist is smaller. It also moves less than the Love because of the nailhead, so I don’t like it above the Love or it would hinder its movement.

Oh that’s a great point! I hadn’t thought of that—thank you! So is your JUC the same size as your wrist measurement?

I think most people wear the JUC closest to the hand in one size smaller than their Love. Good luck building your stack - do you think you’ll be done at 2 or do you plan to add more?

Thank you for your feedback, this is so helpful. I will try on both sizes before purchasing. I would have never thought otherwise.
Yes it makes a big difference in comfort when you begin to stack. So regardless of which you plan on getting first, try both Love and JUC in the two different sizes. For example:
Love 17, JUC 16
Love 18, JUC 17

I saw you mention earlier that you don’t want them moving around too much, but once you add another having two of them so snug can feel a bit constricting IMO. I know many others on here feel the exact opposite, but it wasn’t until I added my JUC that I wished I had gotten my Love bigger.

Just FYI — according to a Cartier SA, they advise against the nailhead of the JUC stacked against the Love bracelet because the two bracelets hitting against each other will cause damage to the nailhead. I used to stack my JUC with my Love bracelet that way and have noticed a mark on the nailhead of my JUC. Stacking the bracelets with a watch will also result in the same kind of damage.

Thank you so much! This is super helpful and exactly what I’ll be doing

Thank you! Yes, I was watching a YouTube video regarding this. I think the more I’m looking into what my stack will be, I’m less bothered by the potential scratches. I wear my jewelry 24/7 and with my lifestyle—kids and work scratches will be inevitable but I’m ok with that. I like to wear my pieces. That’s a great point though regarding the SA suggestions and I appreciate it. Maybe when I’m in store and I have the shiny new beautiful pieces I’ll change my mind though. ;-)

I was just reading about this in another thread and someone pointed out that while the tail end of the JUC can scratch the Love (fwiw mine does not - it falls exactly against the side edge of the Love without it overlapping) - the head on the Love can cause divots. I also heard from another PFer it can dent the head. Just wanted to flag because I think of divots / dents as a different beast than scratches. I wear my nail head closest to my wrist, with the Love under it / against the tail. Enjoy your stack!
