Very and i'm trying to get over it. When there are clouds I dont take my bags out, I wont let anyone carry it, if i'm getting my nails done and have to go wash my hands i' take my bag and put it between my knees. I dont set it on the floor, in the car it goes on the other seat or in the back if i have others with me.
I've been caught in the pouring rain 2x with my bags and have stuffed them under my shirt to protect them.

Im bad *blushes*

I carry a plastic bag inside of my speedy just in case it rains! And that's on the days when there is not one cloud in the sky. You never know!! I won't carry it if it is cloudy. It is always on my passenger seat in the car, or I make my boyfriend hold it on his lap if I'm driving him!!

I think I'm going to carry a plastic bag, too! Good idea :) I'm not as careful with my mono bags as I am the white mc. I'm obsessed that it will start "chipping" as I've read about here or get a stain on the white. But I guess those just make the bags look loved, right?

I'm not tough on any of my bags, cheap or expensive, but they're all going to be put on the floor every now and then. I'm not going to baby them, but I definitely don't want an LV with leather on the bottom.

so far i only have damier and epi, so I don't have to be very careful. i try to treat my bags well, but not obsess about them. if i were to buy a monogram, i'd only buy a used one, partly b/c i love the patina, and also so that i wouldn't have to worry about it so much getting that FIRST blemish! i buy used cars too, for the same reason! i hate having to obsess about that perfect brand new look. you know it's not going to last forever, so why worry?

I am very protective of my good bags - I have certain other bags I use for: bad weather days
days spent at Chuckie Cheese
days at the beach

My best bags are treated like what they are: works of art.

I have carried mine in the rain or snow and havn't noticed any spotting. If it was pouring I wouldn't. I won't set them on the ground either. Other than that I'm not that bad about them.

It all depends on what I want to carry. I'll take my damier or epi bags out if there is incliment weather. If it's nice out, I'll take anything. I'm pretty picky with my vernis, though. I don't think I'd take it out in very hot weather for fear of melting or color transfer.

Extremely protective!!! It's MY LV, get your hands off! lol! :heart:

I wouldn't go ask far as to washing my hands, but I would not let anyone but my friends touch it! and if I saw someone eyeing it... I would hold it very tightly in my hands and not let go. lol.

Also no hand lotion if I know I'll be touching naked vachetta. Lots of handwashing and I use a purse hangar/hook at restaurants to keep my babies off the floor and my lap if there aren't any hooks or extra chairs.

Plastic bag... I believe I am going to do that too, I keep a canvas bag in my car to put overtop when it is sunny so it doesn't set directly in the sun and I use it if it is raining... BUT.. it wouldnt help having that bag in the car when I am in a store and it starts to rain..

I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed...
haha.

I am going to try to be less overprotective and go with the flow.. although it is a work of art and I want it to continue to look that way!

Oooo hand lotion GOOD ONE... I sometimes use baby oil on my tanned legs (to make em look skinny and shinny) and I make sure (whether I am late for work or not) to double wash my hands before touching it. Oil is NOT easy to get off the hands tho I might add!

Do you use Appleguarde? Have you in the past, I bought some.. if you have how did it turn out.

Since I am crazy to keep it lookin good, I am scared to put on treatments!
