How precious is lambskin?

I just got a small Proenza Schouler hobo-ish bag that is lambskin with lambskin lining. It’s buttery soft. Can anyone comment on how careful I need to be? Do I need to baby this bag? Thanks!

I had a PS bag that was made of lambskin...It showed some wear but not much really....I didn't baby it

Lamb skin is more sturdy than people think. IMO it gets softer and shines as it ages which is really gorgeous.

for sure there are more durable leathers (like pebbled) but lambskin is beautiful

My closet is most Chanel lamb, it’s not delicate at all in my experience, it’s so luxe!
