I will graduate my PhD in 1.5 years from now, and have decided to buy myself the small 16 in tan with white stitching (pictured). The contrast stitching is very important to me and I love how structured the bag is and the little lock. Grained leather would be fine too, but definitely the tan with white stitching. I’m just worried that by the time I finish my PhD, they will discontinue the white stitching (like they did with the YSL sac de jour). Do you think this would happen so soon, or has it been around for a long time? I can’t really buy the bag now because I want it to be a reward for finishing a gruelling PhD! If I go to Paris I could get it for even less, with tax refund too. Am I being too optimistic?
