How often do you wear your CLs?

I was curious, do you ladies wear yours every day, or do you use them more as special occasion shoes?

I wear mine to work every day. Last week I wore a different pair every day, it was fun. And my SA at Saks was amazed that I could wear my CLs all day!

Pretty much all day, every day. I sometimes wear Chanel ballet flats or some other random designer flat sandals, but as far as heels go, my go to shoes are Louboutins. My SAs don't even bother trying to sell me on other shoes. lol

I have to admit, I do a lot more admiring than I do wearing. 75% of my CLs are still new. I take mine out of the box and model and stare at them...does that count? lol

Yep, my CLs are work shoes too - haven't been doing much socialising recently as work has got in the way so they've just been around the office. Different pair every day - everyone comes over to check out which shoes I'm wearing in the morning

omg my bf was just screamin at me for this.. i have 3 pairs of unworn shoes that are just layin there

whenever we go out its usually to clubs or other crowded places and the thought of my beautiful shoes getting stomped out makes me wanna throw up in my mouth!!

so im waiting for special occasions like ... restaurant parties ,

now that im thinking about it .. it really sad , why in the world do i have so many pairs if i never wear them =[

Thats how I feel too, I feel sad when I dont wear them. Becuase I am not a "wealthy" person, it would be incredibly hard to justify to myself (not to mention my DF!) buying such expensive shoes and not wearing them. Although I still havent worn my nude patent yoyos, but those I am saving for my wedding day.
But if I had the money, I would DEFINITELY buy shoes that I wouldnt wear every day, and just look at them. Soo prettyyy...

I do not have a job that requires dressing up, so wearing CLs are out of the question. Besides, I do not want to set a CL clad foot at my workplace. :yucky:
My CLs are more of an occasion shoe and unfortunately, my social life cannot keep up with the contents of my wardrobe closet. I have worn at least 50% of the ones I have and have plans to wear the rest. I give myself a year to wear my CLs. If they are not worn in a year's time I part with them.

I wear mine almost daily, simples to work and other styles for social events. This weekend, I was doing a spring cleaning and realized that I have not worn my non-CL shoes in so long. They just don't seem as special to me anymore.

Not as often as I'd like. Some of it's a bit of discomfort with wearing good stuff and nice stuff where others don't care. Many women don't dress up, or dress anywhere resembling up. It shouldn't matter, but it still does at times. Some of it's the time of year. Right now, we're in the midst of a freak spring snowstorm. Some of it's the fact that the floors at the office are polished concrete. Most of the little potholes have been repaired, but it's tough on your shoes and just walking in general. And some of my shoes are more suited for going out.

frozen I understand what you mean. when no one else even attempts to make themselves look nice, it almost feels like gloating or bragging when you come into the office looking like a million bucks in your CLs and other designer whatnot, and it can cause intraoffice resentment. Sometimes its tough to find a balance between staying true to yourself, and keeping the harmony in the office.

Ah, I just have a shoe fetish.

I don't know if it's an attempt to look nice, or for some women, a distorted self-image. They look in a mirror and see a supermodel looking back, and we see the opposite.

I don't see it as gloating. I like nice things and I like quality. I'd rather buy one good pair of investment shoes and have them for five years than buy 10 pairs that last maybe one or two.

The coworkers' priorities are their own. But a lot of days, I feel out of place. Or feel I lead a double life.

I wear mine on the regular. I would hate spending all this money for these shoes and not wear them. I work in an office setting, so I mainly wear heels on a daily basis. I'm known as the the "heels girl" at work. lol

I usually wear mine for special occassions, dinners, clubbing. I dont have any simples for everyday(have some other designers), but that's next on my list(cant buy til 7/1 :crybaby:). I was wearing my CLs yesterday for a party and 2 girls noticed them and were totally drooling...doesnt that just make your day ?!!:P
