How often do you clear out your bag collection?

Wondering what other folk's habits are in terms of going through bags and deciding you don't use them therefore they need to go? Even if it's just one bag!

I probably do this once a month which I feel like is possibly mad! I'll very rarely regret getting rid of the items so I'll wonder why I bought them in the first place as they'll often still be new or I barely used them. Would love to hear what others do

Only when I run out of closet space. At that point I look at bags I have not used in awhile and decide if any need to be pruned from my collection. It’s hard because I’ve gone years not using a bag only to find it coming back into my regular rotation.

I'm always looking at my bag closet and thinking what doesn't speak to me anymore. Especially if I buy something new I try to see what I possibly could or should sell. I try to use everything I have and if I notice I'm not feeling good or even excited about a bag or a wallet it's usually time for it to go.
I have done a couple of big purges but now I'm pretty happy with the amount of bags I have.

Usually a few times a year I try to do a purge. BUT I have had regrets at letting bags go and like the above poster, I have noticed a newfound love for a bag that has just sat for ages. So I’ll proceed with caution in the future when it comes to purging. . .
