I have a stainless steel santos that is fairly scratched up from daily use. The sapphire on the dial is also cracked cause i dropped it on the floor once. I'm now thinking of selling this watch but think it would be easier to sell if i fix it up. I'm just scared how much it'll cost to get the replacement sapphire along with the general reconditioning. Does anyone know how much this would maybe cost?

I would get a quote from your local Cartier boutique. About 2 years ago I had my santos reconditioned for a little under $200. A friend of mine was helping me adjust the time on my watch & pulled the sapphire dial off. I took it to a local watch repair place thinking that they could just place the piece back. They assessed that the dial had to be replaced & quoted me $300+. So I went to the nearest Cartier boutique, they said the same thing but they offered to replace it for free & all I had to pay for was a cleaning, rebuffing & general tune up.
