I would be happy to buy from a reseller, especially if certain leather or color combinations are hard to come by from an H boutique. I am very thankful to all of the wonderful and knowledgeable Hermes experts at TPF who provide so much valuable information and education about Hermes bags - this is so helpful to me as I search for my first 35cm Birkin through the resellers. Thank you to all of you who give so much of your time sharing your knowledge!

I would also buy from a reseller especially if someone I knew had a positive experience with that reseller - that kind of endorsement would certainly make me feel more comfortable, particularly when making a meaningful investment (those most I will ever spend on a bag in my life!)

Yes, especially for vintage Box Kellys or unique combos. The thrill of finding a vintage Kelly in mint condition is an addiction! Haha. Vintage Box leather has amazing quality which really stands the test of time and is truly built to be past on from generation to generation.
