I recently heard (on oprah i think) that in order to lose weight it is recommended 10,000 steps, which seemed high to me. So, I went out and purchased a pedometer. I'm averaging like 6,000 steps and I workout 7 days a week (at least 30 min of cardio)! So is it really neccessary for the 10,000? I feel like I'm exercising alot and I'm not even getting close to the 10,000 mark. I can't imagine exercisng more!
