do you like it snug, an extra cm, or dangling? and if dangling, aren't you afraid it'll get caught and break?

here's what mine currently looks like:

I'd be removing between 2-6 links (which can be used for something else, hehe).

it's obviously too loose at the moment (falls off my whole hand if I shake around!), but I have hesitations about how much to cut off. I've never really worn dainty bracelets, so not sure what the best look would be. any help (and photos!) appreciated! would really love to hear your wrist measurement vs your bracelet measurement.

My wrist measures at 5.5 inches and I wear my bracelet at six inches, I don't prefer anything worn on my wrists to hang, not even a watch. But your bracelet is more stone heavy, so I am thinking maybe you might like a little room.

I wear mine similar to Nikki
my wrist is 6.5 inches and I wear mine at 7 inches, I've worn it like this for 4 years with no issues. my sister has a teeny little wrist probably about 4.5 inches and she wore hers forever at standard length and broke it twice. the longer it is the easier to get it caught on things!

thanks for your replies! that really helps.

why would something more stone-heavy need more room? since it doesn't stick out and take up space like a pandora/trollbead bracelet would, would it matter the amount of stones on it? just curious!

what's "standard length"? my wrist is 5" and the bracelet is currently 7.5"... I can either shorten it to 6.5", 6", or 5.5"... ahhh dilemma!

I was thinking of the setting, since it doesn't look bezel set, I thought it may tug on your skin when the bracelet moves, but it wouldn't matter really if the setting is comfortable as is. :D

oooh smart thinking. but there's nothing poking out, so I'm good. I'm not sure what sort of setting it is, there's only two prongs and the sides are exposed, but everything is smooth...? no idea.

normally standard length is 7 or 7.5 inches. sometimes 6.5 if your wrist is 5 inches I would shorten it to 6 inches for a loose fit or 5.5 whatever is the best fit for you! I cannot stand my bracelets moving up and down my arm I like them to stop about 2 inches above my wrist bone

Yeah, I don't like too much movement either. I would go with half an inch. It will be comfortable, assuming you don't like too much movement as well.

thank you guys sooo much! you helped me decide how snug I wanted it. I realized I'd like to wear it with a watch, so needs to fall 2-3 inches above wrist bone, but no more. this will be my standard length for all my bracelets now. :D

I also wear similar to Nikki and candice. My wrist is 6.5 but I wear 7 inches bracelet. I think it suits great with my hand. I don’t like any bracelet which hangs a lot in hand. So I think you should use bracelet based on your wrist measurement.
