How long does it normally take for ur SA to ship out your Chanel once payment is made

Ok, I have just recently bought a bag from Peggy (Nordstrom in Seattle ) by a referral from our tpfer :) (Thanks to you Heather :)
My credit card has been charged for the payment since last Friday, but until now my Sa still hasn’t provided me the detail of the shipping and tracking number as she said she would gave it to me since Monday.
Well, this is my first time on buying Chanel from aboard and has the order ship to me. I know, I might be a little bit too paranoid, but I'm just wondering that is this the normal situation? Also how long does it normally take for the SA to ship your bag once the payment has been made.

Thank u guys..... im just feeling a bit worry ..hope someone can assured me that I shouldn’t be worried...and that I should just rest in peace and excited for my new bag to be arrived :sweatdrop:
 
She has always sent it pretty much immidiately after I order (she has my info on file.) I dont know about Nordstrom but the Chanel boutique won't provide tracking numbers anymore it seems. Why don't you just call Peggy and ask if she has the tracking number for you. I would just say that you work (or whatevr) and you're trying to plan when you'll need to be home to sign. I think that is pretty understandable. I probably am not helping much b/c I really don't buy/order from department stores. I just know the boutique is really quick.
 
Oh - I can imagine just how anxious you must be feeling right now. But don't worry too much, I think the SAs referred to you in this forum are pretty reliable.

My SA (Damian at Saks) sent the bag even before the charge was posted on my credit card (although the credit card company told me it takes them 24-48 hours to post the charge to my statement). Shipping was so quick that by the time he sent me the tracking info, the bag was on a FedEx truck ready to be delivered!

I hope you get your tracking information or your bag soon.
 
Ive purchased from Peggy before.. the bag arrived 5 days after the cc transaction went thru.. she didnt provide me with any tracking # tho.. but i think you shouldn't worry.. give it at least a week or so... ;)
 
Just got my tracking no. From sa, looked it up and suppose to recieve package today,call your sa she will provide you with the tracking number, good luck< enjoy new purchase< lovesbmw
 
Peggy is really on the ball and she is really sweet. I bet if you called and asked her she would let you know when she sent it out. I once spoke to her about a bag for 15 minutes and she never rushed me off the phone, even after she talked me out of buying it.
 
I have purchased from the Nordstrom in Seattle more than once. (I use Sarah--and Peggy when one on vacation). They are awesome! My experience has been that they actually send it that day (depending on what time you order it), or it goes out the very next day (except Sunday's,?) Delivery depends on if you take their normal standard shipping which they quote to be 8-10 days (although it usually arrives sooner if not around a holiday), or if you pay a slight fee to have it expedited. Since you are abroad, I would imagine that might affect delivery time? But, do not despair. You purchased from a great store that stands behind everything! I am sure if you call Peggy, she will address any concerns you have and provide you with any information on the shipping, etc., she can! The SAs there are wonderful to work with! I never hesitate to purchase anything from them. Don't forget to post when you get the bag. I will be watching to check out your new purchase!!!:smile1:
 
it depends on the SA. lucas at nordstrom MOA ships immediately and sends me the tracking info; other SAs (nordstrom or otherwise) don't. keep in mind that the SAs don't actually handle the shipping -- the shipping department does. so even if the SA processes it immediately, if the shipping department is backed up, it could take longer than expected. btw, in my experience barney's is the worst -- it often takes days for the shipping department to process an order.
 
I purchased a bag from the Seattle Nordstrom on Saturday from Boleyn (who is really great). She said the bag would be sent out on Monday and I would be e-mailed a tracking number. I never got the tracking number and when I called last night I was told that my package did not get sent out until Tuesday and not on Monday as promised. Boleyn was off so I cannot blame her and the other girl in Chanel said she personally brought the bag to the shipping dept. on Monday so she blames them for the delay.

So to answer your question, I think they can box it all up and get it ready to go right away, but we are at the mercy of the shiping dept. (as to when it actually ships) in big stores like Nordstrom, etc. I was told my shippping would be refunded because of the delay, so I am happy about that, but I want my new bag!
