How long does ebay respond back to your claim?

i recently filed a claim with ebay, i waited for 10 days in which i received the claim form. I filled it out and faxed it straight away. it has been 2 months now and i have still not heard from them! is there a direct number i can phone them? As i payed by cheque i can't get refund from paypal! it was quite a lot of money but i know i can only get the mimimum.

you should go to your local trading standards office ( thats what we call them here)
and consumer direct
there not quick to pay out , but quick to take in

I too have lost hundreds of pounds on e bay
