how long before I escalate?

So I impulsively bid on a botkier bag last week....and won. I thought great price, great way to try out a bag, and it was described in great condition only carried 3-4 times. The bag arrived on Wednesday, very used, scuffed and beaten up, stained inside and covered in some sort of black hair, and it smells....like chemicals, smoke, and funk.
Immediately contacted the seller, and opened a paypal dispute. It's now Friday and I still haven't heard anything from her, do I escalate now or give her a little more time??

i have been told to escalate immediately, that way the seller doesn't have a chance to respond and you can get your money back faster.

That is a shame. It looks like a really cute bag and cheap! I wonder what the hair is? Eww.
I would escalate after 48 hours or so.

Given the fact that she specifically said there were no flaws on the bag I would escalate immediately.
