I've set my mind on the Rockie, however I'm not sure if I should get antique brass or rose gold hardware.

My boyfriend loves the rose gold because it stands out more and while I do think it's very pretty, I also think it's very "in your face" and girly. I'm also concerned about it's lasting power (classic or trendy?) as well as chipping. The antique brass is classic, much more subtle, and probably less prone to chipping.

If anyone has any AWs in RGH, how has it held up? Have you put anything on it to protect it? Do you still love it?

I have the black Rocco with Rose Gold hardware. I've had my bag for almost 3 years now and use it at least 2 times a week. It's held up really well, I just checked it a few weeks ago for chips and scratches and so far there's no chips. There are hairline scratches on all the studs, but that's pretty normal. You can't really see it unless you're looking for it. The leather is getting softer with wear for sure, I think I have to take it in for repair soon because there's one iffy spot on the piping that looks like it's wearing down more than any other spots on the bag. Other than that, I still love it, it's a very hefty, sturdy bag.

And as for it being "too blingy" or "girly", I though the same thing at first. But because of how badass the studs made the bag, it looks less girly and blingy to me. :D I'm not one to obsess over rose gold, but when I saw the rose gold studs on the Rocco for the very first time, I knew it was for me. I just loved the way it stood out and it makes such a statement to a basic black leather bag.

I don't think you can go wrong with rose gold or antique. I think you should buy whatever you love right now, and worry less about whether or not it'll be a classic. Because if you love it, I'm sure in 5 years you'll still feel the same about it even if it's "out of style". :) Like I said before, I've had my bag for close to 3 years now and it's still one of my favorites in my collection.

I have a rockie in RGH. It's very pretty and this style of bag will never be too girly, imo. I did not remove the studs protective plastic until after 8 months so I've yet to see how it will hold up. Hoping it will not peel in an ugly way but I avoid putting my bag on the floor and such so hope it'll last.

Thanks guys! I decided to get the Rose Gold HW and I love it so much 😍😍

I've had my black pebbled Marion with rose gold hardware for just over 2 years, and there are no signs of chipping at all. In that respect, it has held up very well.

In terms of being in-your-face or girly, I don't really think it's either of those things! I'm actually tpically a hater of anything pink, but I LOVE rose gold. I think that A. Wang's designs are edgy enough anyway, that any super-girly qualities that RGH would add is tempered down, if that makes any sense.
