Michael Kors How does studded bags hold up?

Considering buying the selma messenger medium pale pink with studs, but I don't know how the studs hold up over time? A bit worried about the studs on the back of the bag. Do they loose the gold color? They are in contact with what you wear all the time, won't they be scratched easily? But then again...They look sooo good on the Selma...

I'm not sure how well the studs hold up but they sure do add that special something to the bag. It's very cute....

I have several bags with studs on them, but are all in silver studs, and they don't fade. I imagine in time the gold will wear off on the back and end up being silver, because they are silver under the gold coating.

For me, I would be more worried about my blue jeans rubbing off on the pink! The only time I would wear a bag like that is for special occasions like a wedding or something. I think it would be fine for occasional use, but not everyday. IMHO.

I'm more worried about loose or lost studs than fading, my studded bags only have silver so I can't help with fading question. A missing stud looks 10× worse than a faded stud IMO. Because others have talked about fading issues, I will probably never buy anything with gold studs now.
