How does LV's Monogram Vernis Hold up?

I was wondering if anyone here has any actual experience with their Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis hold up? I heard that it is not an everyday wallet you have to be very careful with it etc, I just bought the zippy in rose pop tonight and I am worried. Anyone else have this wallet in patent leather?

I was worried about too when I bought my rose pop sarah wallet. So worried that I was afraid to use it but Now I have two Vernis wallets. I bought the pomme zippy coin purse. they are both holding up great!

I have had a pomme cles for almost 2 years inside my bag and it still looks perfect. I just bought a rose pop ZCP a month ago and I love it

It is more durable than you think. I have several Vernis bags and SLG's and they still look as good as the day I bought them.

I also have Vernis items, and I completely forgot that there was a color transfer issue until I read this thread. Mine are holding up really well.

Is there an issue with finger prints.. is that true? I don't own any Vernis, but that's really why I have been hesitating! Ha.

On the amarante you can see finger prints, but they wipe right off. I have an amarante alma and I just ignore the finger prints
