How do you store your COACH bags that are missing their dust bags?

Hi all! As you would have seen in my reveals, I received a couple of preloved vintage COACH bags recently and I love them to bits!

However, only one of them came with a dust bag. I'm now at a loss as to how I should store them. Any advice or suggestions are much appreciated! Thank you! :D

Pillowcases are a good option. I have a couple hanging on over the door hooks. I've also doubled up a few bags into larger dustbags. Sometimes if you have a good relationship with a SA at a store, he/she might be willing to give you a few.

If I don't have the sleeper/dustbag, I only use white cotton pillowcases.. no chance for color transfer and they are breathable.

Any pillowcase that is 100% cotton will do. I'm a machine quilter so I'll sew one up every now then; always 100% cotton, I really like flannel. While I think Coach's dustbags are pretty, I don't like the fabric that they are made of. It seems too polyester-y to me which = not as breathable like cotton.

There is a conversation in the LV forum that says you should store your bags in dustbags and not boxes....something about the boxes drying the bags out. Anyone ever hear this?

I have asked my store for extra bags as sometimes the strings break or something and they have always been great about it
