How do you pronounce: "Venetia"?

OK, burning question here: How do YOU pronounce "Venetia"? Have you seen the ads for "Confessions of a Shopaholic"? Do you pronounce "Venetia" just as the character does in the Prada shop?

^^interesting!!! The dot over the i or j is called a 'tittle'!

I also pronounce it vuh-nee-sha. My reasoning was, venetian...venetia...

i propose we split into teams then duke it out in an arm wrestling tournament to see which gets to be the official and correct pronunciation. then we'll see who's supa kool.

who says we can't arm wrestle? maybe you and your lack of imagination thinks so, but not me. there, we just did it and i won.

am i so transparent even on the internet? you're right. i would only be able to win arm wrestling contests with little kids under the age of 8. i can't bench press the bar much less the bar with weights on it. i also can't do half a pull-up. thanks for dredging up old insecurities, karmenz. i hope you're happy with yourself.
