How do you measure the "strap drop" length?

  1. How do you figure out the "strap drop" length? I am looking at a couple of Coach bags on eBay and rather than strap length they give the "strap drop".
  2. It's the height of the strap, when pulled taut. The shorter the drop length, the closer it would fit under the arm as a shoulder bag, if that makes sense

    What nawth21 said.

Take a bag that's comfortable and measure the "drop" of that bag from the top of the strap to the top of the bag. (as shown by the "dotted" line in my photo).

I think we all have a "comfortable" drop depending upon how we are built.
