Hi everyone!

I've been eyeing the Plumet for a bit as I'm looking for a simple everyday bag that will hold my keys, cash/cards, and phone. For those of you who have the Plumet, I'd love to hear your thoughts on how its held up, what you love/dislike about it, how many items you can carry with it and anything else you have to say about it.

Thanks in advance! :girlsigh:

I like mine! It’s pretty small so I only carry it as a clutch or to sporting events that only allow small bags, but that’s actually the specific reason I bought it!
I see!! Do you think it's too small to fit all your necessities? I'm scared it might get a bit bulgy after putting everything inside. I don't have the chance to go view this in store so I'm just trying to find out some details before I purchase!

I think that if I had to do it over again, I’d consider the Cap Verte. I like the look of the Plumet and I use it when I’m taking a walk, but it really is tiny. I can fit my credit card/ drivers license, my iPhone XS and a pair of reading glasses in it, but my keys (car fob and door key) and sunglasses/ case won’t fit. I really wish it were slightly larger.

I can take pics tomorrow, but the contents need to be relatively flat IMO
I carry cards, lip gloss, a comb and iPhone.

Thank you both, this is really helpful!! I did briefly consider the Cap Vert, but I'm not sure about the rectangular shape (it looks quite long). The Plumet does seem a little inconvenient if you do decide to carry more than a couple cards and cash. I may need to go back to the drawing board

Here are a few photos. There are 4 separate compartments that make up the bag, including a back pocket that runs the full length. However, there is minimal depth, so basically everything needs to be pretty flat to fit. As I mentioned before, I can fit readers in the bag but I can’t add sunglasses. Thank you for the photos! I'll have to think about what I essentially want to carry with this bag. I love the look of it, but the smaller size makes me reconsider.

I, too, find it a bit small even though I don't carry much at all--but I can see that being a plus if you're purchasing it for that specific purchase. I was hoping for a slim everyday to replace my Cap Vert, but I do wish it were just a tiny bit bigger. The strap is also a bit long for me (I'm 5'2").

The Plumet is super cute but like Swanky said, your items would have to be pretty flat. But it would be perfect for going to the bars, attending a sports game, just bringing your essentials. Cap Vert fits quite a bit more but it sits higher due to the strap length, if you are tall it might not achieve the look you want -may be. What about mini alpin or mini vendome? They are both super versatile and have longer straps as well. I really like the Alexandre III but the strap is super short can't do it crossbody (unless you are super petite)

I didn't realise that the Cap Vert strap length was different, I'm 5'7, I wonder where it would sit in comparison to the Plumet.. The Mini Alpin and Mini Vendome look very cute, especially the vendome, but I guess they wouldn't work for my everyday lifestyle/don't slip under the radar quite like the Plumet does (if that makes sense!). I love the Alexandre III but was sad to find out that it's more of a shoulder bag. At the moment I'm thinking if I do get the plumet I'd probably only carry a few cards, cash, my keys and phone, for trips to the grocery store or when I just need to step out of the house for a bit.

I use mine a lot for travel - yes, sometimes it can be frustratingly flat, for me it's not for glasses - but it's great on a plane.
I tie a knot to shorten the length and make a crossbody and I always have my important things with me (on me) and I don't even notice it, because it is so lightweight. Also, it is small enough to put in a bag as a wallet, you don't really have to change out everything.
