I have taken a Palladium charm and hung it on a silver link bracelet. Have also tied it on a twilly same way you did with the ribbon.

love the cadenas. was hoping this was a thread about them on the bags because i just love seeing that eye candy and was wondering about a cadena in my future. as a necklace, i'd like it better on a cord, but either way it will look beautiful on you.

I use some of my cadenas with the Quitte Ou (leather choker with a clasp and ring to hang the cadena)

^ I must get one of those. There was a pic here once of someone wearing the large chaine d'ancre with a twilly as the necklace - that looked fab! I've never been able to track down the large CDA though.
