How do you feel about Louis Vuitton watches?

i have a LV tambour (I think? I tried to look it up on the site but its an older face style that they don't carry anymore)
it keeps time well
after about a 2 years i think the battery died so i took it back to lv and they had to send it out to see what was wrong. they replaced the battery for free, as long as you bring in your booklet that comes with the watch for the warranty info
the only problem i've had is the suhali strap, i used to wear it daily and the strap stretched out a is a lot bigger then before (i was already on the closest hole so its loose now). its probably because i got the thin double wrap band so it stretched a lot easier

its a nice watch!

What do you want in a timepiece? Are you more interested in the aesthetic appeal of a watch or the inner-workings/movement? If you are into the movement I would go for the Air-King. Rolex is well known for their quality in-house movements, while LV just uses a modified ETA movement. I think I like the looks of the Speedy watch better than the Air-King. Rolex's are a little bland, and very commonplace these days. The LV watch is a little more interesting. It is unique, something you don't see that often. Also, LV has a longer warranty (5 years!) than Rolex which is a big plus!

Tried their Tambour range....love them but wouldn't want to fork out so much for LV watches. I think you should just stick to AirKing.

EXCELLENT question, and honestly I don't know which i prefer. I have 2 J12s which are NOT best known for their movement, but i LOVE both regardlessly.

I like some of their designs, moreso the diamond ones.. but I feel like they are a bt of a copout when it comes to movement, I personally wouldn't pay more than 1k for a non mechanical watch and i had better love it. I do tend to go for H watches more than LV when it comes to fashion watches. LV watches are very pretty IRL
