I have a cartier SS tank francaise watch and I'm wondering how u ladies clean it. I've gotten it cleaned at Cartier and the high speed dryer that they used left water spots

Any tips?

Please share how you clean and sanitize your watches - most especially the metal bracelet part.

Do you just wipe it with cloth? Or do you use a cleaning agent (eg alcohol solution) to sanitize the bracelet of your watch?

When I went into Rolex in September to pick mine up, one of the managers advised me to simply hand wash with a mix of warm water with mild liquid dish detergent. He showed me the one he was wearing that day which he cleans regularly and is over 20 years old, it looked new! Hope this helps.

I use a soft toothbrush (it won't damage a metal watch), tap water and a bar of soap. Make sure the crown is closed, place the watch in a warm water bowl. Let it sit for 30 seconds, then scrub it a toothbrush using soap.
