How do you choose names for your bags?

I noticed some very cute names for bags here. So, how did you name your bag? If you have more than one, how do you figure out what name to give each one? I'm already trying to think of names for the etoupe Kelly I ordered and I can't think of any!

I really only have one bag from each brand, so I tend to call them by their labels? Maybe if I had more, I would feel the need to name them individually, but I'm not really a namer of things...

Sometimes they already have a name....you just have to listen for it... :o)

I really don't name my bags. The only one that I refer to with a name is my 28cm sellier barenia/horsehair Kelly. I refer to her as Miss Grace Kelly, for obvious reasons in my mind.

Each of my bags has a name, known only to me and my family. Some are named after people, some after where I bought it or who bought it for me, and some for the occasion for it was purchased. I don't always refer to the names, but I always remember them.

All of my LV bags were named by the company, so those are the names I use for them. But I named my new Kelly "Abra" after this line in a poem written by Matthew Prior in 1718:
"Abra was ready ere I called her name;
And though I called another, Abra came."

No no names really, although each bag has some personality of sorts. They are just my bags, not friends :shame:
