I just got a round brush tonight! I know that it is supposed to make the curls and make my hair bouncier, but i have nooo idea how to maneuver it in my hair! I feel like it just gets tangled in my hair!!! can some one give me a step by step?

i posted a pic of one that looks like mine (not the same brand) but mine is about the size of the big one in the middle! it's not a thin one

Ok so first advice is that the smaller the barrell the more "curl" you will have at the ends. I use the one with the wire bristles and metal barrell but the one your using is more gentle on the hair and better for it.

-first take a small section of hair and take the brush to the roots of the section and point your blow dryer at the section.
-slowly brush the round brush down the hair and towards the ends rolling your wrist in a motion that starts to wrap the hair around the barrell
-wrap the hair completely around the barrell (from the ends to the root, all this while keeping the blow dryer on the barrell) continuing to roll then brushing thru toward the ends
-continue this motion of rolling up and toward the ends until that section is dry and continue onto another section
-do this on whole head

I HOPE THIS IS CLEAR I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL BUT I DO THIS ALL THE TIME. I HOPE IT WAS ABLE TO HELP.

Basically its brush to the end slowly->roll to the roots->Brush to the ends (continuously)

Great how-to! My arms get tired WAY before my hair is dry. And I have fine, shoulder length hair! It's easier for me to dry my hair about 70% with a normal brush and then use the round brush from roots to ends to dry it the rest of the way. If I start round brushing wet hair, my arms feel like they might fall off! Of course, you get more volume and shine if you dry it all the way with the round boar bristle brush, but I just don't have the energy!

^^that's a great tutorial!
i do the same but i use the "Cool' shot after each section is dry, while it's still rolled up. you get much better bounce and it lasts longer.

Thanks!! Im gonna try the cool shot, I know this is going to sound crazy but after im done i run to the refrigerator and stick my head in it for a minute to cool the hair, lol. it makes it shiney and softer for some reason.
