Where the heart is
Can anyone help?
I've seen a very badly treated B-bag that has had a new coat of colour applied....very, very badly.
Has anyone here stripped, reconditioned and then recoloured a bag before?
I'm quite patient, I think I'm quite creative....but do you think it's a job for the experts?

i think some have used acetone with success. i believe someone even washed the bag in a machine, if you trawl through the reference section you'll find all sorts of threads on what people have done to their bags !

if you do dye it yourself, i don't recommend the self shine dyes as these just sit on top of the leather and will peel, rub off and flake, try and get a penetrating dye, you'll be restricted colourwise though.
