How do i prevent my Louis Vuitton from Cracking?

Hello everyone ,

I've placed an order for my LV bag, because nowadays it's getting cold in the Uk (pure british weather shall we say >_____<) Could i ask how do you prevent it from cracking & other nastiness

Or do you think it's a wrong idea to place an order at this time of year?

Only bags that have ever cracked on me are the Nova Check burberry ones, and that is just from normal use. I have never had an LV crack when I use it in cold weather...

I usually use my LV's in the dead of winter and havent had any problems

the only problem you might have is vacchetta getting dirty with rain and snow!

I am from the UK and I use my bags and accessories through winter and they never crack. However my husband has a monogram wallet and does not put it in the dustbag and it has now begun to crack. As long as you store it away in the dustbag, it should be ok.

Both my Speedy's cracked over the years and they told me to ensure I conditioned the leather! I just moved to the Monogram Idylle Speedy!

well I've seen vernis alma getting cracked because of the cold weather.
I think vernis would be the only one to be concerned about

Generally canvasses do crack over time if they are continually folded and opened, but this only happens near the seams.

I use my LVs all year round and have never had a problem. The only time I've experienced cracking was because the bag was older, not because of the weather.
