How do I clean vachetta that has the black stains from the older LV brass hardware? Can this be done?

I've had success removing black hardware marks on vachetta using saddle soap.
Thank you so much! I thought of ordering the vachetta cleanser from Lovin' My Bags, as well. Did the saddle soap darken the vachetta?
If you already have patina it won’t darken it but you should condition the leather before and after using the saddle soap. There’s a few videos on YouTube about the process. I know everyone has differing opinions about the whole process but I’ve been doing it for a while and haven’t had any problems…. Fingers crossed I didn’t just jinx myself lol.
