My brother spilled some soup on my darling flap.
Fortunately it is a black caviar but it still smells like food and there are some bits of red pepper in the "texture" of the leather and in the space of the quilted stitching. :shucks:
It's barely noticeable but I want to keep my baby in its best condition for as long as possible.
I wiped it a couple times with baby wipes but it doesn't seem to work too well. And my brother tried to wipe it with paper towels (the rough/stiff kind) and I thought that would leave scratches so I stopped him.
Any recommendations on how to clean it?
Thanks!

If it's caviar you can probably just take a damp towel and wipe the bag clean. I've even used a mild detergent on my white jumbo...I wouldn't recommend it, I was desperate, but it didn't damage the leather in any way.
Caviar is durable...it'd take more than a paper towel to scratch the leather ;)
You should also do a search on cleaning caviar as well
