I have an SA at my local boutique but i don’t feel like we connect very well, what we like is kind of different and he is not very helpful - not sending pics, not trying to get items that I actually want. He just expects me to go to the store and buy whatever he recommends, minimum effort maximum return for him. I shop bags, accessories and ready to wear from him. I believer I am a VIP based on how the store manager and all the other SAs behave when I go there and the Christmas presents that I got. Basically everyone else puts a lot more effort to help me than my actual SA.
Lately I don’t feel like shopping there or if I go to the store, I will end up going at times when he is not there and somebody else - the lower level SAs will help me but my assigned SA will still get the sale.
I am not sure what to do to change the SA. There are some women SAs there with whom I’ve connected better but I don’t know - maybe every Chanel SA in the US is like that. I am comparing every SA with my Chanel shoe SA from Nordstrom who is excellent - he finds everything I want, when he gets something new he shares immediately - he is great but maybe not many are like him.
I am considering just stopping shopping through this Chanel SA, responding to texts and even not going to that store anymore and just waiting to shop when I go to Europe which happens pretty often nowadays - the stock and the SAs there seem to be much better. I might even save some money this way as well.
